Brothers by Tragedy

This is a collab with my husband, :3
He had a sketch of my characters Gale (left) and Hansen (right), sitting in his sketch book for a while now.

Today he was like "You should ink and color this!" so I kind of put aside other stuff I was doing to give it a shot. We haven't done a proper collab before. :3

So Ben did the initial sketch, and I did the rest!
The background is a screenshot from Fallout 4 and modified with filters.

Had a lot of fun working on this ;w;


Gale and Hansen were both very different people in the past.
Gale lost everything and was on his own for a long time. Even with his dog, Sammy, sometimes days were hard to get through. The loneliness, and feelings of being forgotten, along with the constant drifting were tough. He had also done his fair share of darker things. He sought revenge on the raiders that he thought murdered his brother.

Hansen, on the other hand, had to find ways to cope with all the terrible things he had to do, which ultimately lead to a radioactive purge of the lab he worked for. Chems, sugar, and some alcohol drowned the pain, and regardless, he still tried to look on the brighter side of things. In his own way, he was hoping he could repent for his past actions.

I love mah bois, and Ben did a great job sketchin them ;w;
